General Information

Children - Children 8 and under ride free (EXCLUDE  FOR MOUNTAIN). We do not provide car seats. Under Colorado law, children weighing less than 40 pounds (18 kg) must be in an infant carrier seat; and children weighing between 40 and 80 pounds (18-36 kg) must be in a child safety seat.

Luggage – Two pieces of luggage, plus carry-on items, are permitted per fare-paying passenger. Additional pieces, bulky, or extra heavy items are subject to refusal or a $10 per item excess baggage charge.

Lost Items – Passengers are responsible for their personal possessions. We try our best to return items left in the vehicles to their owners, but we assume no liability for lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced items. Any charges incurred in returning a left-behind item to its owner must be paid by the owner.

Remember, too, that many bags look alike. Our drivers cannot  be responsible for remembering which bags belong to each passenger. Upon reaching your destination, please check to see that you have retrieved all your belongings, and that each bag, briefcase, computer, etc. is, indeed, yours.

Note: Be extra careful with small items; these are left in the vans most often (cell phones, in particular).

Lost Tickets – We reserve the right to charge another fare to anyone who claims to have lost his/her shuttle ticket. Please keep your ticket in a safe place, and remember where you put it.

Unruly Passengers – In order to maintain a safe and comfortable driving environment, our drivers have the right to deny or de-board any person who, in the driver’s judgment, is unruly or disruptive.

Safety – Our vans are equipped with seat belts for each passenger. Please use them. Front seat passengers and children MUST be buckled.

Gratuities – Tipping is allowed and is much appreciated by our drivers.

Shared-ride Service – Big Sky Shuttle is a convenient and inexpensive way to get to and from DIA. Please bear in mind that it is a shared-ride shuttle service, and that our drivers strive to drop off passengers in a fashion that is as timely and logical as possible. Someone will be dropped off first, and someone will be last. If you are that last person, take comfort in how much you saved compared to a taxi. (The taxi fare between DIA and Downtown Denver or the northern end of the Tech Center, for example, is typically $45-50, plus tip.)

Limitations of Liability – Big Sky Shuttle will not be responsible for delays caused by weather, road, or traffic conditions; mechanical failure; or any other conditions beyond our control. Any expenses arising as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, are the sole responsibility of the passenger.

Refund Policy - In order to request a refund, cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled pick-up time. A 5% processing fee will apply to any cancellation. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the pick-up time are non-refundable.
